It’s winter again and I’m happy this video is released! We shot this beginning of the year, it was -10°C and had just so little time outside. After a short change of plans about the location to shoot, the performer Tania Giovo and me agreed on a rough plan what positions to go to. The performance however is purely improvised and shot in one take. In the final video are a few overlay videos but the whole performance was done only once.

The Ruiner demonstrates this. Albeit slow burning, the track is almost like an outpouring of rage, beginning with the innocence of this piano line, that eventually gives way to huge, raw chorus’s, muscular riffs and driving percussion, before retreating into itself for its almost unassuming ending.
